Mechanical Professional Engineer

C1S has a unique opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team providing outstanding engineering services for a variety of innovative projects. Our Mechanical Engineering career path allows you to work as a valued team member on HVAC design and other mechanical aspects of process, commercial, and institutional facilities. Our focus is energy management and providing sustainable solutions to our valued clients.

You will serve as an expert on a multi-discipline, highly interactive and coordinated team providing MEP engineering support and design. You should be a self-motivated professional with 5 years or more experience in mechanical engineering. Must be a PE with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and be driven to grow personally as well as professionally with each project. LEED AP, CEM certification and ASHRAE membership are encouraged.

Serve in a lead role providing mechanical engineering design and multi-discipline coordination on projects in the areas of HVAC and plumbing and fire protection; serve as a technical resource and mentor for junior staff.Develop proposals and contribute to building client relationships and business development efforts. Perform all aspects of assignments requiring knowledge and application of engineering principles. Prepare engineering calculations, construction drawings, and project specifications. Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems utilizing computer aided engineering software (AutoCAD). Travel to project sites to investigate site conditions and to participate in design meetings with the client.

Have experience with design/build projects and/or project delivery.
Analyze HVAC system loads and energy consumption using load/modeling software (Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700). Have experience with industrial process systems, equipment installation design, and cleanroom systems. Pursue training opportunities through local engineering organizations to stay on the cutting edge of available technology and engineering practices.

C1S has a unique opportunity for a Construction Manager to join our team providing outstanding renovation & upgrade services for a variety of innovative projects. You will serve as a construction expert on a multi-discipline, highly interactive team providing MEP engineering, facility renovations, and equipment upgrades in seamless integrated packages. You should be a self-motivated professional with 5 years or more experience in Construction Management. Must have a 4 year degree in Construction Management (or equivalent), and be driven to grow personally as well as professionally with each project. LEED AP, CEM, PMP certification is encouraged.

Estimate, plan, direct, and coordinate activities concerned with the renovation and upgrade of production facilities and systems.
Develop proposals and contribute to building client relationships and business development efforts.
Participate in the conceptual development of project design and oversee organization, scheduling, and implementation.
Act as C1S site lead in the execution of activities of subcontractors and suppliers.
Responsible for achieving safety, quality, schedule and budget goals on each project while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Have experience with design/build projects and/or project delivery.
